Off-White Poplin with Hand Work

Cotton poplin in a soft off-white, chosen for its close, even weave - it holds a crisp line without the stiffness of heavier cotton, and stays comfortable through a long day. The dye is done by hand in small batches, so the off-white carries warmth rather than reading as flat white, and the hand work is applied afterwards across the surface. Both steps are done by hand, which is why no two pieces match exactly. An easy piece to build around: it takes colour well alongside it, and works as readily for daytime as for something more dressed up.

- Hand wash cold and separately for the first two washes, as hand-dyed colour may release. Dry in shade. Warm iron on reverse. Do not bleach.
